“I got all of this information just by searching their social media posts,” Jack Vale of YouTube’s Jack Vale Films said Monday before identifying total strangers in public with nothing but his phone.
Vale identified and shared personal information about strangers with apps like Facebook and Instagram, which track your current location via your smart phone and make it public unless you deliberately turn off the option.
Though Vale dubbed it a “social media experiment,” the video served another great purpose: “freak them out a little bit,” Vale said.
