Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade has successfully sold the idea of a sitcom based on his life to Fox.

The show, “Three The Hard Way,” will be about an NBA star raising his two sons, and the ins and outs of single parenting while being an athlete.

Wade and executive producer Mike Tollin sold the show earlier in the year. The official description reads, “no matter how misinformed, misguided, or unfit Team Wade may be, they have a trump card that can’t lose. It’s called love.”

The show will have lead writer Ben Watkins, who Wade is excited to work with, reports the New York Daily News. He said, “I think Ben is a great writer. I think he’s going to be able to pull the comedy out of the dark moments. That’s the one thing before I sold my story that I said, I want to be able to bring some light into the dark times and I want somebody who can do that. I think Ben is the guy who kind of can do that.”

Wade was awarded custody of his two sons Zion, 4, and Zaire, 9, in April 2011 after a messy court battle with his ex-wife. He has already written a book about parenting called “A Father First,” which was released in September 2012.
