No shopping trip is complete without a list, and the biggest buying day of the year is certainly no exception. In fact, every major retailer in America seems increasingly determined to barrage potential customers with a list of the “best deals around” every year.
Needless to say they’re not all ribbon winners, and could take some digging-through before you dig out your car this weekend.
That’s why we’ve done it for you, and compiled a list to shine a light on the real deals in the early darkness of Black Friday.
Beware — many of these “door busters” will be offered for a limited time and with limited quantities, meaning you’ll have to shake off the turkey sleep early to take home the prize. But if you stick to this list, we guarantee you’ll be home in time for the leftovers.

Amazon has been offering Black Friday deals every 10 minutes all week here. Items sell out quick, but at the time of publication the online retailer was offering a Samsung 55″ 1080p 240Hz 3D Ultra Slim Smart LED HDTV for $1,297.99 (down from $1,597.99), an HP 2000-2d64NR PC Laptop for $289.99 (down from $449.99), a Nikon COOLPIX L820 16 MP CMOS Digital Camera with 30x Zoom Lens and Full HD 1080p Video for $171.74 (down from $279.95) and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 for $299 (down from $399.99).
Apple sent out a teaser email earlier this week advertising Black Friday deals that won’t be announced until the day of, but if history is any indication, customers can expect about $100 off Macs, and an average of $50 off iPads. Various iPhone discounts will be bundled along with contracts from service providers.
