MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011:

“He [President Barack Obama] has not said one thing about what he’d do in his second term. He never tells what he’s going to do with reforming our healthcare systems, Medicare, Medicaid, how he’s going to reform Social Security. Is he going to deal with long term debt? How? Is he going to reform the tax system? How? Just tell us.”

“Just tell us, commander. Give us our orders and tell us where we’re going. Give us the mission. And he hasn’t done it.”

An interview between Matthews and Obama will air Thursday on MSNBC. According to a release:

The interview will air Thursday evening at 7 p.m. ET on “Hardball.” Matthews, who will be joined by American University students, will discuss a variety of topics with the president including voter suppression, health care, the decline of confidence in the government and the overall political dysfunction in Washington.
