If Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden face off against each other for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, Bill Clinton may regret his Tuesday interview with CNN En Espanol.

During the interview, host Juan Carlos Lopez asked the 42nd president how he thinks Joe Biden would be as president.

“I think the world of him,” Clinton said. “I first remember working with him when he was the chairman of the Judiciary Committee for the Senate and I was a governor and he asked me to testify in a judicial hearing for him.  And I had a — I had to file a testimony, because I had to go to Asia.  But I’ve known him for years and years and I have a very high opinion of him. I care a great deal about him and I think he’s done a good job for the president and for the country.”

Clinton said he doesn’t know whether his wife plans to run for president in 2016 — which, if true, would make him the only person in the literate world who doesn’t know Hillary Clinton is eyeing another presidential campaign.

“[S]he believes that the country should spend at least another year working very hard on the problems we have,” the world’s most political man said of his wife, the former secretary of state.”We have very serious challenges in America. And we have responsibilities around the world.”

“I think it’s a big mistake, this, you know, constant four-year peripatetic campaigns,” the creator of the constant four-year peripatetic campaign added. “It’s not good for America. We need to do deal with the business we have before us.”
