Sony Pictures released the official trailer for “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” on Thursday. The film is set to be released on May 2, 2014.
The trailer opens with a voice-over from Peter Parker, played by actor Andrew Garfield.
“Every day I wake up knowing that the more people I try to save, the more enemies I will make,” Spider-Man said. “And it’s just a matter of time before I face those with more power than I can overcome.”
The film introduces Jamie Foxx (Electro) to the “Amazing Spider-Man” series as the lead villain. There is also a new Harry Osborn in town, played by Dane DeHaan. He is no James Franco, but seems menacing enough.
