MSNBC’s Chris Matthews is interviewing President Obama this afternoon in a theater at American University. But White House pool reporters accompanying POTUS to the event will have to keep quiet until later.
To be certain, they’ll view the interview, but the material will be embargoed until later in the day. It’s unclear what time a transcript will be released — the pool report says “before 7 p.m.” when MSNBC’s “Hardball” airs.
The pooler that announced the news is Washington Post White House reporter Zachary Goldfarb.
