Really Big Coloring Books, Inc. has released a comic book-style coloring book starring Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.
“Ted Cruz to the Future™ — Comic Coloring Activity Book” is a “non-partisan, fact-driven view of how Texas Sen. Rafael Edward ‘Ted’ Cruz became a U.S. senator and details, through his quotes and public information his ideas for what he believes will help America grow,” according to the description.
Cruz’s inspiring story as the child of immigrants, Texas solicitor general, and finally, prominent junior senator, is playfully, yet accurately portrayed in a series of outlined pictures begging to be defaced by deft crayonists.
The most popular page from the book is surely the one telling the story of Cruz’s famous marathon Senate floor speech in September.
While it may seem a little text-heavy for a children’s coloring book, “Ted Cruz to the Future™ — Comic Coloring Activity Book” fulfills Really Big Coloring Books’ mission to produce “a true factual representation of the landscape through the medium of kids coloring and activity books.”
In the description for the coloring book, publishing company says of the senator: “Cruz’s beliefs and actions stir much emotion in those following the political realm, he is a modern ‘superhero’ to many and looked upon in adoration and abomination by some.”
