Here’s the deal

Hi. If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you may have noticed I’ve been gone for the past week. This was not planned.

Another bad thing happened to me last week, I spent some more time in a DC hospital, and I really don’t want to talk about it right now. I’m tired of being asked how DC residents can get away with physically hurting their fellow citizens, with no consequences. I just know that it has happened to me twice now, and I’ve had enough of recounting what it’s done to me, both physically and emotionally. I just don’t have the energy for it anymore.

So I’m not discussing the matter, beyond what I’ve already said on my Twitter feed:

As a good friend has advised me, the best thing I can do right now is to get past what’s been done to me and look to the future.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I’ve tweeted about it fairly extensively. If you do know what I’m talking about and you find this blog post frustrating and coy and unsatisfactory, if you think I somehow owe you something: So noted.

If you’ve written to me over the past week and I haven’t gotten back to you, I apologize, and I thank you very much for your moral support. It really means a lot to me.

Alright, then. I’m going to try to get back to work. I can’t guarantee my output will be back to normal for the next little while. But then, when have I ever been normal? Ha ha.
