Conservatives took to Twitter to praise Paul Teller after it was revealed Wednesday that the longtime executive director of the conservative Republican Study Committee on Capitol Hill had been ousted from his job.
Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise, the chairman of the committee, recently asked Teller to resign, Politico reports. The outlet suggested Teller had been accused of leaking his conversations with lawmakers to outside entities.
The news shocked conservative activists from places like Heritage Action, RedState, Citizens United and Tea Party Express. Many wrote messages of support for Teller on Twitter.

The firing of Paul Teller tells you everything you need to know about the problems with GOP leadership. Teller is what made the RSC great

Paul Teller is pretty much a model staffer. Firing is bizarre given his role, but hardly surprising given childishness of his enemies.
