Adorable six-year-old Hunter Yelton was accused of sexual harassment by his school administrators after he kissed his girlfriend on the hand in class.

His permanent record now reflects a sexual harassment charge, even though he doesn’t know what sex is.

Yelton’s mother told local news reporters that the romance is mutual. Yelton has a crush on a fellow student at the Canon City, Colorado school and considers her to be his girlfriend, and she likes him back. He was previously in trouble for kissing her on the cheek.

This time, other students noticed him giving her a peck on the hand, and reported it to the teacher. Instead of merely instructing the young lovebirds to stop, however, administrators suspended Yelton for a full day.

Canon City school district officials stood by the punishment, and said the six-year-old’s behavior fits the description of sexual harassment.

Being charged with sexual harassment prompted Yelton to ask some awkward questions.

“This is taking it to an extreme that doesn’t need to be met with a six year old,” said Jennifer Saunders, Yelton’s mother. “Now my son is asking questions… what is sex, mommy?”

Saunders has demanded that the sexual harassment charge be expunged from his record.

Yelton has promised to be better behaved in class, though he still likes his girlfriend.
