The newest next-gen consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have each sold more than 2 million units in the two weeks since their launches — and have been sold out almost everywhere since.
But Friday afternoon reports indicate GameStop will have both systems on sale this weekend.
Holiday shoppers looking to pick one up for the gamer in their family have largely been out of luck at places like Best Buy, WalMart and Amazon, but the nation’s largest video game retailer said it will have quantities starting Friday — just don’t wait long to hit up your local store.
PlayStation 4’s continue to be sold out on Amazon and at Best Buy, while Xbox One’s came back in stock on Amazon today and have pre-priced packages available by Dec. 24 at Best Buy. Wal-Mart has announced a shipment of PS4’s to arrive Sunday Dec. 15 at 8 a.m.
