Facebook users have been asking for a “dislike” option for status updates since “like” was a thing, and its finally coming to the messenger feature of the world’s most popular social media network.
The “dislike” sticker is a thumbs-down icon you can download and use in the Facebook Messenger app. You can find it under the “Likes” sticker set. You can’t use it on a status update, but it’s the closest thing we’ll have until a version of the rumored “sympathize” button is decided and released.
Facebook sticker sets are free, so head over to Facebook Messenger and start expressing some negativity — because “liking” a friend’s status about their sick dog or latest fender-bender feels a little disingenuous.
