The Associated Press’s Julie Pace — always offered the first question at presidential press conferences, hit President Obama hard Friday — asking him if 2013 was the “worst year of his presidency.”
Pace cited Obama’s failure to advance his domestic agenda, the botched roll-out of Obamacare, and his historically low approval ratings as reasons for the question.
Obama disputed the characterization, insisting that if he cared about polls, he wouldn’t have run for president.
