Mike Huckabee says there is a “50-50” chance that he will run for president in 2016.

The former Republican governor of Arkansas and Fox News host recently fanned the flames of another presidential run. Asked by Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday” to give the odds of a 2016 campaign for the White House, Huckabee said there’s probably a 50-50 chance at this point of him once again entering the presidential fray.

“I would say maybe at this point it is 50-50,” Huckabee said, “but I don’t know. I don’t know if I would put a percentage on it.”

“But as people have approached me and they’ve asked me about it, I have had friends who said let’s do a poll, let’s just see if you’re even in the mix,” he continued. “You know, those are things you at least listen to. And so right now I have other things that I’ve got to focus on on a full-time basis, and I’ll just keep that option open and make a decision after the 2014 elections.”
