Russian President and owner of increasingly reptilian eyes Vladimir Putin hit the ice Saturday to slap the puck around as the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi drew closer.
Putin joined Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and ice hockey stars Pavel Bure and Vyacheslav Fetisov, according to the video Russia Today posted on YouTube.
Putin is infamous for his photo ops involving shirtless horse riding, racecar driving, tiger tracking and many more delightful hobbies. Maybe he’s decided to officially add hockey to his repertoire. However, after this showing, he might want to stick to all those other pastimes.
The Opening ceremony for Sochi will air Friday February 7, 2014 on NBC.
