Before the college football national championship game had even begun Monday night, Brent Musburger was already making headlines when he forgot his name, introducing himself as “Kirk Herbstreit.” To his credit, the real Kirk Herbstreit showed no reaction.
Musburger must’ve been a little nervous – after all, during last year’s championship game, he gained attention after repeatedly praising AJ McCarron’s beautiful girlfriend, Katherine Webb.
Musburger is currently 74-years old and will soon be facing the expiration of his contract with ESPN, unless the network chooses to renew it.
