Another great catch by the fine folks at Twitchy…
Here’s The Guardian‘s original caption to a picture of Wendy Davis. It accompanies a story about Marlise Munoz, a pregnant Texas woman who collapsed last November after suffering a possible pulmonary embolism, is now brain-dead, and is being kept on life support in compliance with state law, despite the wishes of her family:
Davis is pictured because of her opposition to laws like the one that’s currently keeping Munoz under life support. But no matter what you think about those laws — and I sympathize with the plight of that poor woman’s family — how in the world has Davis ever made any “efforts on right-to-life issues”? With apologies to the late Bill Hicks, she doesn’t think you have a right to life until you’re in her phone book.
The miserable communists have since changed the caption from “right-to-life issues” to “reproductive rights.” Nobody on the left wants to say “abortion.” Especially not Davis. Remember when she actually tried to call herself “pro-life”? Orwell wept…
