Things must be pretty tense in Mediaite’s Soho office space…CapitalNY wrote a must-read story on Mediaite Managing Editor John Nicosia whose real name is Zachary Hildreth. Hildreth (or Nicosia, whatever you want to call him) preempted CapitalNY, which had been working on story on Hildreth when he popped out his confessional that he’s a convicted felon. The story is still very much worth reading. One detail coworkers interviewed notice about him is his penchant for pretending he’s an MD. I walked away from CapitalNY‘s story thinking, might there still be reasons to not trust this guy? Let’s see. One reason: He lies, repeatedly. And he’s supposed to be a journalist.
