Ronan Farrow is in trouble with NBC — and his show MSNBC hasn’t even started yet.

The soon-to-be talk show host son of Mia Farrow and either Woody Allen or Frank Sinatra angered top company officials after he slammed Allen during the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.

During Diane Keaton’s tribute to Allen, Farrow tweeted: “Missed the Woody Allen tribute – did they put the part where a woman publicly confirmed he molested her at age 7 before or after Annie Hall?”

Farrow was referencing an allegation that Allen had molested their seven-year-old daughter. NBC, the parent company of MSNBC, is reportedly “furious” at their future host for making the network look bad, according to Radar Online.

“The network has very strict policies on what their talent/employees are able to post on Twitter and Facebook. No-one has said anything directly to Ronan yet about it, but he will certainly be reminded about it now that he is an employee of the network,” an NBC source told Radar. “It just places the network in a terrible position of having to defend airing the Golden Globes, which was a huge ratings bonanza.”

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the voting bloc behind the Golden Globes, is also “very unhappy” with Farrow’s comments. Another source told Radar that “[i]t’s important to remember that Woody Allen was never arrested or criminally charged for molestation.”

Farrow also angered NBC with a jab at E!, which the Peacock also owns. In response to a follower’s tweet on Sunday, “Anyone seen confirmation of execution of JN & Ahrar fighters by ISIL in Syria?” Farrow replied, “I think Giuliana Rancic is covering on E!” At that moment, Rancic was covering the Golden Globes red carpet.

The NBC source told Radar, “Even though Ronan’s tweet about Giuliana was a joke, it was just in bad taste to post it. It makes NBC News division look bad. Ronan is now in the media spotlight and he is going to modify his behavior accordingly. The network is supportive of Ronan and thinks he is an incredible talent. We are looking forward to a long working relationship with him. He just needs to stay focused.”

MSNBC has been harsh with its hosts lately. The cable network fired Alec Baldwin shortly after his evening show started for hurling the word “cocksucker” at a photographer. They also urged Martin Bashir to resign after gross comments he made about Sarah Palin and made Melissa Harris-Perry apologize on-air after she made fun of Mitt Romney’s adopted black grandson.

MSNBC did not immediately reply to The Daily Caller’s requests for comment about whether or not Farrow will be reprimanded for his remarks.

Ronan has been famously estranged from Allen since 1992, when Mia divorced him after she found out that Allen had taken nude photos of her 19-year-old adopted daughter Soon-Yi. She claimed in divorce proceedings that Allen had molested another adopted daughter. Soon-Yi and Allen later married.

In a Vanity Fair profile last November, Mia said that Ronan is “possibly” the son of her first husband Frank Sinatra and not Allen.

The day the profile came out, Ronan tweeted, “Listen, we ‘re all *possibly* Frank Sinatra’s son.”
