They tried to make him go to rehab. He said… “Yeah, that’s probably a good idea, huh?”
Dennis Rodman has checked into an undisclosed alcohol rehabilitation center to treat his long-time struggle with alcoholism, his agent says.
Darren Prince declined on Saturday to say which facility will treat Rodman and how long he will be there. The former NBA star recently returned to the United States from his latest trip to North Korea.
He later apologized for comments he made in North Korea about a detained American missionary, saying he had been drinking and was under pressure as he organized an exhibition game there.
What’s the big deal? All he said was:
What, you’re telling me you’ve never made that much of an ass of yourself, in front of the whole world? Well, okay, maybe you haven’t. Still. They left they damn families.
I propose a toast. Raise your glasses, everybody. I don’t care what time it it, get ’em up there. Here’s to Dennis Rodman and his inevitable relapse. May it be his most entertaining meltdown ever!
