So Rob Ford likes to drink a little now and then, so what?

Oh. Oh, I see. What, you’re perfect? You never bumbled around a fast-food joint at night, drunkenly attempting a Jamaican accent for some reason, knowing your every move is being recorded because you’re the damn mayor? Well, terrific. Good for you, then. You’re just wonderful, you’re a wonderful person, congratu-frickin’-lations.

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford admitted to drinking alcohol Monday night, after a YouTube video appeared today showing him at a restaurant swearing, mumbling and speaking in Jamaican patois…

Throughout much of the minute-long video, titled “New Video of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford Drunk, Swearing in Jamaican Patois,” Ford attempts to use Jamaican slang, using the word “bumbaclot” — profanity in patois — at least four times.

The mayor admitted he was drinking alcohol. “A little bit, yeah,” he told reporters. He had pledged numerous times he does not drink anymore, after revelations in 2013 of his crack use while in office.

So he had a little drinkie-winkie. Oh my gosh, it’s the end of the world! Yeah? You never had a drink or two on a Monday night? You’re mommy’s little angel, are ya? Come on, man. It’s not crack. It’s not illegal or anything.

And, what, he’s not supposed to identify with people from other countries? It’s a confident. Compliment, whatever. Lighten up. Frickin’ hoseheads.
