Potential 2016 Republican candidates for president are accepting invites to address conservative activists at the Conservative Political Action Conference in March.

The Daily Caller has learned that Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum both plan to make appearances at the annual event outside Washington. Jindal and Santorum are each expected to consider runs for the White House in 2016.

Al Cardenas, the chairman of the American Conservative Union, said in a statement that organizers are “proud” that Jindal and Santorum are attending the March 6-8 event at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.

“This year’s theme is ‘ACU’s Golden Anniversary: Getting It Right for 50 Years’ and we are looking forward to the best CPAC yet as we begin pulling the nation back from the brink of Barack Obama’s disaster with a movement that inspires, unites, and discovers new solutions to our current challenges,” Cardenas said.

Several other potential presidential candidates have accepted CPAC invites, including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan.

Former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin – who addressed attendees last year – has also been invited.
