The Jamaican bobsled team is in dire straights since their equipment hasn’t made it to Sochi. The team’s blades for the sled, helmets and racing suits are believed to be somewhere in New York.

The team, who crowdsourced funds to go to the Olympics after qualifying, were delayed getting from Moscow to Sochi due to bad weather. Driver Winston Watts told Sporting News, “The sled is here, but the blades that we put our heart out to get, the airline maybe left them back in New York. None of us have clothing.”

If the supplies don’t arrive in Sochi by Thursday, they’ll have to borrow the gear from other teams to practice.

But the team is not letting the screwup harsh their mellow.

“There’s no such word to explain how I felt being here,” Watts said. “The atmosphere, the fans, the friends. It’s pretty exciting. We are the most lovingest people, so every moment is always positive. We always keep smiling. That is our motto.”
