Writes Jordan Bloom of The Daily Caller, “Didn’t know @mikeallen had a side career modeling for sculptures.” Bloom unearthed this uncanny similarity between Politico‘s famed Mike Allen and The Wellesley Sleepwalker.

For those who may be unaware, there’s a statue of a sleepwalking man dressed only in his undies at the all-women’s Wellesley College up in Massachusetts that’s creating quite a stir. It’s part of a new exhibit at the Davis Museum. Hundreds of offended female students have signed a petition asking the school to get rid of the sculpture. But according to The Boston Globe, the artist, Tony Matelli, is reacting quite jubilantly to all the controversy. He told the Globe, “I was talking with the curator of the exhibition and my assistant this morning, and we were saying, ‘When was the last time a work of art was talked about so much and got so much attention?’ I can’t remember when.”

And just in case someone may be having trouble seeing the resemblance, here we have Allen on MSNBC when he, like our Wellesley Sleepwalker above, wore a bandage over his nose.
