The Democratic National Committee (DNC) again defended President Obama from potential impeachment in a fundraising email Friday.

The DNC’s second impeachment-related fundraising email in recent weeks suggests that the main thrust of the party’s 2014 U.S. House campaigns is to prevent Obama from meeting the fate of Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton.

“It’s happening again…,” the email stated, featuring a red-and-black image of Republican Rep. Paul Ryan.

“Rep. Paul Ryan is telling reporters that President Obama is ‘increasingly lawless,'” according to the DNC email. “Rep. Paul Broun (Running for Senate in Georgia) just said there’s a “good reason” for an impeachment vote.” (RELATED: Republican Senate candidate shows support for impeaching Obama)

“Remember: If we win just 17 more states, we’ll take back the House and put an end to this kind of asinine behavior. Chip in $3 or more to elect more Democrats,” the email stated.
