Democratic ad bashes Obamacare website

A big Democratic super PAC is up with a new ad praising a Democratic congressman for “[taking] the White House to task for the disastrous health-care website.”

House Majority PAC put up an ad Wednesday touting Florida Rep. Joe Garcia for his opposition to some of the consequences of the new health-care law’s problematic roll out, and praising him for his work to “fix Obamacare.”

References to the “disastrous health-care website” sound like they might be more at home in a Republican ad, but it is not the first time House Majority PAC has touted Democrats for speaking out against HealthCare.gov’s failed roll-out.

The Washington Post points out that the super PAC also ran a similar ad praising Arizona Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, saying “she blew the whistle on the disastrous website, called it ‘stunning ineptitude,’ and worked to fix it.”

The ads are not critical of the health-care law itself, but rather focus on the website, which was largely non-functional when it went live in October.
