Thanks to a social media campaign, Louis Corbett of New Zealand will be able to watch his beloved Boston Celtics play before he becomes legally blind. The 12 year old was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa last March.

Corbett is a huge Celtics fan and told his parents that his one wish was to see them play before he’s physically unable to. They took this idea and launched a fundraising campaign on Facebook to raise money, reports Yahoo Sports.

The Celtics caught wind of this boy’s wish and decided to grant it. They will have Louis and his dad come to the Garden on March 5 to watch the Celtics play the Golden State Warriors. Bank of America is putting them up in their corporate luxury box and Air New Zealand is covering the full airfare for Louis.

Louis’ story caught the attention of Celtics co-owners Wycliffe and Corrine Grousbeck, since they have a son who is blind. Louis’ father Tim has been blown away by the generosity.

He said, “It’s just out of this world stuff. To have someone care for a 12-year-old kid on the other side of the world is just amazing. We’ve been stunned by the generosity of people.”
