Whenever Washington gets hit with a major snowstorm, the Washington D.C. Snowball Fight Association holds a snow fight in Dupont Circle. Due to the weather conditions, the group revised their snow fight plans to a snow sculture contest.

This change of plans did not stop DC’s News Channel 8 reporter Mike Conneen from having a snow fight with DC residents and tourists while on air. As he reported live on air on the snow sculpture contest, people began chucking snowballs at him.

“Is that all you got?! Is that all you got?!” he shouted at his adversaries as they pelted him with snow. “Just not the face! Not the face!” he said later with a Ron Burgundy-like reaction.

“I’m taking it from all directions,” he continued. “It’s a like a dodge ball game up here, and I’m the only man man enough to stand up here with all these snowballs coming.”

After several more blows during his live report, he decides to move from his spot.

“This is snowball central. I better get down before I get hurt,” he said. “Does workman’s comp cover this?”

“You’re on your own, Mike, is what the lawyers are saying,” another anchor quipped.

Conneen went over to the snow sculptures a few feet away and found a woman who made a snowman with the likeness of President Barack Obama.  She called him “snow-bama” and was still working on it because like Obama, he’s “evolving.”
