Should we worry? Valerie Jarrett applauds murderous TV series

The president’s consigliere, Valerie Jarrett, has endorsed the second season of Netflix’s House of Cards series, in which a main character is pushed — spoiler alert — under a train.

“Just finished #HouseOfCards season 2. Amazing!” says Jarrett’s twitter.

That’s amusing, in part because Jarrett pushed several people under President Barack Obama’s metaphorical bus, as she made her way from Chicago slumlord to Oval Office aide.

Her reputed victims include Robert Gibbs, Obama’s first press secretary, and Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s first chief of staff.

The president says he likes the series, which features a Democratic congressman’s efforts to scheme, blackmail, connive and push his way into the White House. But Obama hasn’t announced his opinion about the second season yet.

Lucky for us, Valerie doesn’t use the D.C.’s metro system much.
