The Washington Nationals are bringing an extra player along to spring training: a drone. Videographer Donald Miralle has been filming some of their practices with a GoPro attached to a DJI Phantom drone — and it looks awesome.
The Nats posted a video to their Instagram account, and said that more footage was to come. The MLB website also posted a beautiful compilation of footage so far.
Using new technology is definitely one way to spark folks’ preseason interest after a remarkably disappointing season for Washington fans.
