Over 8.7 million pounds of meat have been recalled, and some of it may affect your Hot Pocket consumption.

Nestlé USA announced a recall Tuesday of two Hot Pocket brands, Philly Steak and Cheese and Croissant Crust Philly Steak and Cheese due to a meat recall by Rancho Feeding Corporation.

The Rancho Feeding Corporation is in the process of recalling 8,742,700 pounds of meat because of its use of “diseased and unsound animals” that are “unfit for human food,” the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service said in a statement.

Nestlé USA, in its press release, urged consumers to return the bad batches to the store where they purchased them to receive a refund.

These Hot Pocket brand products would have been purchased by Nestlé in 2013 and used at the Chatsworth, Calif., production location. The Hot Pocket UPC and batch codes can be found here.

No reports of illness regarding these recalls have been reported.
