USA hockey suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss to Canada Friday, leaving the Americans to play Finland for bronze on Saturday.
Jamie Benn scored the only goal of the game, catapulting Canada into the final against Sweden on Sunday.
The loss means that Obama will have to give up a case of beer to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, after the two bet on the men and women’s ice hockey games.
