Michelle Obama has “boyish brows?” You’ll never look at the first lady’s eyebrows quite the same after this disturbing look at them in today’s HuffPost Style. Just remember, you can’t un-see this. HuffPost Style likes the new boyish brows. But to be honest, I like them much better here, thinner, cleaner, sharper, the way they were on the cover of Vogue in April, 2013. She’s the first lady — she can go back to that look, right?
Wisdom from CNN’s Dana Bash… Today’s Hill Navigator column by Roll Call‘s Rebecca Gale features the CNN correspondent in a “What I Wish I Knew” feature. In it, Bash talks about a piece of advice she got from her colleague Candy Crowley. It goes like this: “The ‘3 B’s’ from Candy Crowley. When Candy’s sons called at work and she was busy she had the 3 B test. Was it broken, burning or bleeding? If not, she told her sons she would call back soon.” Bash’s son is 2 and a half, but she says she’ll use this guidance when the time comes. Read the rest.
Reporter chides House Speaker about his tan… In an amazing act of courage, Jonathan Nicholas delivered quite a zinger to House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) at a presser today. See the item in The Hill‘s In the Know gossip column by Russell Berman. Boehner took it well. But Nicholas had better hope he doesn’t have a hair out of place at the next briefing. See here.
