Sen. Rand Paul says Alison Lundergan Grimes “should be embarrassed” to have President Clinton campaigning for her in Kentucky.

Speaking on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Paul reacted to former Clinton hitting the campaign trail on Tuesday to raise money for the Kentucky secretary of state. Grimes is the Democratic challenger to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Paul says Grimes “ought to be a little embarrassed to be associated or being seen with him.”

“It’s really an issue about whether you want him as a role model and whether you want him as the leader in your party,” the Kentucky Republican told Hannity.  “I would return any money that would be associated with Bill Clinton.  I think he’s a bad role model for the workplace, for women’s rights, for all of that.”

Paul recently called Clinton a “sexual predator” for his relationship with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
