I have to respectfully disagree with my esteemed colleague Christopher Bedford. Not only is Ronan Farrow not a jerk for this:

But he’s so incredibly gifted that he’s winning awards for stuff he hasn’t even done yet!
His first television show has only been on the air for three days, but Ronan Farrow is already winning awards for his journalistic work. Reach the World, a global education group, will honor the 26-year-old Farrow with its annual Cronkite Award for Excellence in Exploration and Journalism…
Reporters attending the event have [been] told not to ask Farrow any personal questions, including about controversy surrounding his family…
“All press are required to stay strictly on message. Any press who ask guests or Mr. Farrow about off-message topics will be immediately escorted out of the event.”
Apparently, nobody informed Ronan himself about that policy:

Well, he’s been insulated from reality his whole life. It would be cruel to expose him to it now, when he’s barely old enough not to be covered by his parents’ insurance. Whoever his parents might happen to be.
Speaking of Obamacare, didn’t the president win some big award right after he was elected, before he’d ever actually done anything? And then it turned out that when he tried to do stuff, he screwed up most of it?
Not that there’s any parallel here. I’m sure Mr. Farrow will be very successful with… whatever the title of his show is.
