Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul has been reminding everyone of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — and so has a famous pop star.

Beyonce Knowles, a 32-year-old singer and Obama fundraiser, came out with a new video for her song, “Partition.” The music video takes place in the back of a limousine, with Beyonce singing, “He Monica Lewinsky-ed all on my gown.”

Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh panned Beyonce’s lyrics.

“It’s the limousine partition, I guess. Doesn’t want the driver looking back. Wants the driver to close the partition. In the song she sings about going to a club with her husband and not getting there before things got really steamy in the back of the limo. Somebody needs to tell Beyonce that Miley Cyrus has the raunch title pretty much taken,” Rush Limbaugh told his national audience.

It’s doubtful, however, that Beyonce’s young audience will understand the lewd reference to a scandal that happened 18 years ago.
