New Jersey Republican Gov. Chris Christie has a prescription for getting rid of Obamacare: “elect a new president.”

That’s what Christie told people at a town hall in Tom’s River, New Jersey, the New York Daily News reports.

“He’s just dead wrong on this,” said Christie, who is potentially looking at a 2016 presidential bid.

“It’s about being for what works and against what doesn’t,” he added.

The town hall was focused on funding for recovery from Hurricane Sandy.

Christie recently came under fire for the way that aid was distributed, after the mayor of Hoboken accused his lieutenant governor of threatening to withhold funds unless the mayor fast-tracked a construction project. The accusation came in the wake of the scandal surrounding the closing of several lanes on the George Washington Bridge.
