A British TV channel has announced that it will publicly disclose never-before-seen footage from Sept. 11, 2001, later this month.
The new perspective comes courtesy of the International Space Station, filmed by astronaut Frank Culbertson, and will be shown on British TV Channel 4 as part of the series “Live From Space: Lap Of the Planet” that is scheduled to air March 16, according to the The Guardian and Channel 4.
“Not every frame has been seen before, so every frame that was shot on that day is in the show,” according to Channel 4 project creative director, Tom Brisley.
The original footage is part of a larger documentary piece that will be presented by Dermot O’Leary and veteran astronaut Mike Massimino.
