The group Americans for Prosperity is continuing its assault on vulnerable Democratic lawmakers with a $700,000 ad buy against Arkansas Sen. Mark Pryor.

“The new ad features the personal experience of Arkansas resident Wanda, who recounts the disappointment and anxiety felt upon learning the health care plan she was promised she could keep had been cancelled due to the Affordable Care Act,” the group said in a release.

Wanda, of Marion, Arkansas, says in the ad, “When somebody tells you, ‘If you like it you can keep it,’ you believe them. But that’s not so in this case. You think that you’re going to be just one of those unlucky people. But then to find out that it’s happening to so many.”

Her old insurance plan is set to be cancelled in December 2014.

Pryor faces a serious challenge from Republican Tom Cotton. The Real Clear Politics poll average has Cotton at 45.7 percent to Pryor’s 42.7 percent. Pryor voted for Obamacare.
