L’Wren Scott, fashion designer and longtime girlfriend of Mick Jagger, was found dead in her tony New York City apartment of an apparent suicide, the New York Post reports. She was 47.
Scott was found by her assistant hanging by a scarf in her high rise around 10 a.m. Monday morning.

She was a former model turned respected stylist who dressed Nicole Kidman and Angelina Jolie before launching an eponymous clothing line in 2006. Everyone from Amy Adams and Christina Hendricks to Michelle Obama have been photographed wearing Scott’s designs.

She had been dating Jagger since 2001.
A spokesman for the Rolling Stones frontman, who is currently on tour in Australia, said that he is “completely shocked and devastated.”
