Seven photos of presidents with the Easter bunny [SLIDESHOW]

President Rutherford B. Hayes welcomed the first White House Easter Egg Roll in 1878, according to WhiteHouse.gov, and presidents have been hamming it up alongside the big-eared wonder ever since.

Something about the bunny’s pastels, soft fur and occasional pair of spectacles signal that winter is over and spring has come.
