Ian Darke will be doing all the announcing for the 2014 FIFA World Cup for ESPN. To draw attention to that fact, ESPN released a relatable and funny commercial with Darke providing color commentary on a very awkward first date.
Despite everything going seemingly wrong, the guy manages to win over her favor while Darke sits at the table with them. ESPN coverage of the World Cup in Brazil will begin on June 12.
