When challenged by the Weekly Standard’s Bill Kristol, a “Morning Joe” panel couldn’t think of a single accomplishment by Hillary Clinton in her time as a senator or secretary of state. John Heilemann was caught particularly flat-footed, though Chuck Todd had one idea: Israel-Palestine didn’t get much worse.
When host Joe Scarborough asked what Clinton’s “one big achievement as secretary of state,” was, Heilemann replied “that will be, when her book comes out in June, that’s one of the questions that book’s going to try to answer.”
Oh, and she isn’t former President George W. Bush, as Heilemann deftly pointed out, saying, “she had a big role in repairing America’s battered image around the world by, through all her travels around the world.”
