This is an actual thing that happened in real life. I did not Photoshop this or alter it in any way.
The latest example of the Obama administration’s smart diplomacy, courtesy of Twitchy:
The world stands #UnitedforUkraine. Let’s hope that the #Kremlin & @mfa_russia will live by the promise of hashtag

Take that, Vlad!
To echo @BarackObama today-proud to stand #UnitedForUkraine World should stand together with one voice pic.twitter.com/VeMt578UdY

Well, that ought to do the trick. Putin thought he had a pretty good idea, invading another sovereign country, until a bunch of people typed a hashtag into Twitter. “Bozhe moi! Twitter? Not that!!”
If Putin keeps this up, we’ll have to go to DEFCON 1: unfriending him on Facebook.
I think Guy Benson might have a point here:
It’s almost as if Jen Psaki is a former campaign flak in *way* over her head on the world stage at State. #Hashtag

Update: Twitter might not be an effective way to stop tyrannical thugs, but it’s good for a laugh.
@guypbenson @jtLOL I remember when Teddy Roosevelt said walk softly but carry a big #hashtag pic.twitter.com/fvRNZHqRBe
