Politico Is Ready For Its Cameo

Politico reporters, particularly the males, are bred with, shall we say, a certain degree of hubris. So it should surprise no one that a few of those Rosslynders showed up to the casting call of Washington’s newest reality show hopeful, Hill House, expecting to be allowed in. Some 40 people arrived for two casting calls. The cast will likely include current and former Capitol Hill staffers. There was no specific call for reporters.

In a report in the Washington Examiner, the executive producer squealed on Politico‘s reality show wannabes, saying, “We actually had a few from Politico and a couple others knock on the door during the casting session,” he said. “We were like, nah, not going to happen.”

The Mirror is digging around to find out who the POLITICOS might be. So far, no one’s talking. But considering management squashed the concept of a Politico reporter opening up a faux Twitter account for a mouse in the newsroom, it seems shocking they’d allow one of their employees to be on a reality show.
