President Barack Obama is departing Wednesday on a three-day West Coast trip to glad-hand donors at five or more fundraising events, including four events in one day.

The trip highlights the president’s focus on the 2014 race, where the GOP is on track to win a slight majority of the Senate and to slightly increase its majority in the House.

He flies out on Wednesday to Los Angeles, where he’ll attend a fundraiser for Democratic House members and Senators.

On Thursday, he’ll attend a Democratic National Committee in the morning. Then he’ll jet down to San Diego for another opportunity to raise money for House Democrats, before flying to San Jose for two fundraisers for the Democratic National Committee.

He’ll fly back to D.C. on Friday.
