Director Zack Snyder sent fans into an Internet frenzy Monday after tweeting a veiled picture of the new Batmobile, which Ben Affleck will take the wheel of when he takes on the man of steel in “Batman vs. Superman.”

The picture doesn’t give away much other than a shrouded peek at the rear end, but the wheels in particular draw a resemblance to the “tumbler” batmobile employed by Christian Bale in Christopher Nolan’s recent “Dark Knight” trilogy. The rest of the design appears markedly thinner, less militaristic and more streamlined.
