This morning I have the pleasure of reporting that over the weekend The Daily Caller‘s Executive Editor Vince Coglianese and his wife, Alison, who works at The Washington Post as their Reader Representative, welcomed a newborn daughter into their lives.
“I’m excited to announce the arrival of Sofia Coglianese, born tonight,” Editor-in-Chief Tucker Carlson wrote in an internal email Sunday. “Six pounds, nine ounces and as you can see from the picture, pretty like her mother — who by the way looks amazingly unruffled by the whole thing. Congratulations to Alison and Vince. Wonderful.”
Asked how he’s feeling about the whole thing, Coglianese told The Mirror, “It’s such a cool feeling to look at her and instantly realize that this is what it’s all about. Mom and baby are excellent.”
Congratulations, Sofia, on your first public appearance.
