Seattle police made the largest marijuana seizure in its history after seizing 2663 plants and 86 pounds of processed marijuana.

The department did not, however, make a single arrest in the investigation, according to the Seattle Times.

Washington state recently voted to legalize marijuana at the state level in 2012 by popular referendum. Growers are allowed a maximum of 45 plants for medical marijuana.

Detectives involved in the operation said they were only worried about bringing the grow operation down to the legally allowed amount. They even let the owners of the two sites cherry-pick which 45 plants and 72 ounces of marijuana they wished to keep.
